F-22 Raptors arrives in Singapore

The Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor is a fifth generation air superiority fighter operated solely by the United States Air Force and never exported. Its capabilities include stealth technology, supercruise, thrust vectoring for superb maneuverability, and integrated avionics which allows it a high first kill opportunity against opponents. Due to cost pressures, there were only 183 aircrafts built.

For the local aviation fanatics in Singapore, today is the first time we get to see a pair of F-22s appear in our skies. 2 Raptors from 525th Fighter Squadron in Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska arrived this afternoon to take part in the Singapore Airshow 2016. They will be on Static Display at the Changi Exhibition Center.

We were there waiting for them to arrive at 1215 to bring these exclusive first pictures of the F-22 Raptors landing at Changi Air Base. First plane that landed, F-22A block 40 no. 10-4195 is the last Raptor to be built!
