The Central Air Force Museum located in Monino, about 40km east of Moscow centre. The museum preserves the history of the creation and development of military aviation in Russia. It is one of the world’s largest aviation museums with the richest collection of aviation equipment is located in the open parking lot and in the halls – hangars. There are 190 airplanes, helicopters, gliders, including unique exhibits of the 1909 release, aircraft of the First World War, the Civil War and the Great Patriotic War, combat vehicles of the post-war period, samples of modern military and civil aviation equipment developed in the Experimental Design Bureaus (OKB) of Tupolev, Yakovlev, Sukhoi, Ilyushin, Antonov, Mil and others. Many of the extremely rare samples could be found in here. Such as the Sukhoi T-4, Mil V12 Heavy Transport Helicopter, Tu-144 Supersonic jetliner and the Myasishchev M-50 strategic bomber.
