RSAF Open House 2011 – F-15SG

RSAF F-15SG  made it’s first appearance in the bi-yearly Republic of Singapore Airforce (RSAF) open house at Paya Lebar Airbase is the Boeing F-15SG Strike Eagle. The Boeing F-15SG Strike Eagle is the best variant of the F-15E all-weather multirole fighter operated by the United States Air Force.

Nesting in Paya Lebar Airbase, under 149SQN, the F-15SG is a replacement of some of their aging F-5S Tiger-IIs fighers which is said to be decommissioned soon, the F-15SG fleet will grace Singapore’s skies for many years to come.

For the flying display segment of the RSAF Open House, 2 F-15SGs did a simulated scramble intercepting an unknown light aircraft and did simulated bombing runs. Enjoy the following pictures.
