In its fourth year, the Military Aviation Photography Singapore (MAphotoSG) team were involved in various activities throughout the year, especially those related to the Republic of Singapore Air Force at this year’s National Day Parade (NDP). One of the significant involvement was with the Mustang Presidential Flag Salute Crew (MPFSC), in which the team spent three days at Sembawang Air Base and Pulau Sudong with them on the important behind-the-scene preparation for the NDP State Flag Flypast. Also, in a first, we had access to see the control activities of 206 and 113 Squadrons as they relate to the NDP.

On the overseas front, the team covered the Royal Thai Air Force Children’s Day Open Houses in Don Mueang and Takhli, the Australian International Airshow in Avalon, the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition in Langkawi, MAKS 2019 in Moscow and Republic of China Air Force Air Base Open House in Tainan.

Moving forward into 2020 and the group’s fifth year, we will continue to seek new directions in presenting more behind-the-scenes articles, and also more informative articles on subjects which are of strong public interest or significance. And we hope you will accompany us on this milestone in the team’s history, as we take a short photographic look back at our activities in 2019.
