The XIV International Aviation and Space Salon, MAKS-2019 was held at he Zhukovsky Airport near Moscow, Russia from the 27th August to 1 September 2019.

MAKS-2019 gathered 827 exhibitors from 33 countries, including 184 foreign companies. Present were leaders of the Russian aviation and space industries, some of the world’s largest manufacturers exhibiting their products in the massive indoor and outdoor exhibition areas. The Airshow attracted total number of more than 550,000 trade and public visitors this year.

Static display consists of almost every major Russian aircraft such as the Su-57, Su-35, Tu-160 and the ultra rare Su-47 Berkut. Foreign aircraft include the Airbus A350 in carbon livery and the Embraer E-195E2 in Tech Lion livery.

The rich flight program includes the aerobatics from the renowned Russian Knights with their Su-30SM, Swifts with MiG-29s, the Baltic Bees and Falcons of Russia teams with their L-39 aircraft. For the first time, two Russian Navy Su-30SM fighters performed in air combat with elements of super manoeuverability showing off the capabilities of the aircraft. Not to be overshadowed, a quad of Su-35S fighters performed some breath taking manoeuvres dancing in the skies above Zhukovsky. Some other notable aircraft performing are the Sukhoi Su-57 fighter, Ilyushin Il-2 Sturmovik and Beriev Be-200 fire fighting aircraft.
