The International Sanicole Airshow is the biggest airshow in Belgium. Every year it attracts up to 40000 visitors on each day of the show. Other then the home team, the Belgium Air Force, this year’s show saw many participants from Europe and the United States Air Force.

Leading the displays is one of the best F-16 solo display in the world performed by the Belgium Air Force F-16 Dream Viper. Following that, we had appearances of Eurofighters from Italy and Germany, The PC-21 team from the French Air Force and also a pair of F-35As from the United States Air Force. On the slower end of things, there was the Yak-52, P-38, T-6s and a P-51.

Gracing the event is also the aerobatic teams from Saudi Arabia, The Saudi Hawks with their beautiful green Hawk T1As. Turkey sent the Turkish Stars flying the NF-5A Freedom Fighter. Lastly, Jordan came with the Royal Jordanian Falcons in their red coloured Extra 330LX aircrafts.

The highlight of the show has to be the Heritage Flight of a United States Air Force P-51 Mustang, F-35A and Belgium Air Force F-16 Dream Viper. These three aircraft performed a series of formation passes for us. This formation is unique only to Belgium. Nowhere else we can get the Dream Viper flying in formation with the P-51 and F-35A
