Sailing along the Johor Strait, the Canberra-class Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) made its way to the British Defence Singapore Support Unit (BDSSU) facility in Sembawang for a scheduled port call.

IPE 2024 is scheduled from August to December; this iteration aiming to strengthen bonds with 14 participating countries: Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Maldives, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam. Prior to the Singapore port call, HMAS Adelaide was in Indonesia for the large-scale amphibious Excercise Keris Woomera 24 (KW24).
